Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most important questions about booking, check-in, amenities and the surrounding area. Can't find the right answer here? Write to us — we usually reply within an hour.
When and how does check-in work?
Self check-in around the clock — the access code for the key safe is sent to you on the day of arrival by email and SMS. Standard check-in from 3:00 pm, check-out by 11:00 am. Earlier arrival or later departure are usually possible by arrangement. Diana speaks German, English and French and normally replies within 30 minutes.
Where can I park? Is there free parking?
Yes — there is free parking right in front of the house, no reservation needed. There is also room for larger vehicles. Guest reviews repeatedly praise the easy parking.
Are pets allowed?
Warmly welcome — for Diana, four-legged friends are part of the service. Please mention your pet briefly when booking so everything is ready. There are no additional fees. The heathland of the Senner Heide is right outside the door — perfect for walks.
How do I get to Bielefeld city centre?
It's 200-300 m on foot to Windelsbleiche station. The regional train (RE or RB) takes you to Bielefeld main station in 10 minutes — several times an hour. By car you reach the old town with the Sparrenburg and Alter Markt in about 10 minutes.
What is there to do in the area?
The Senner Heide nature reserve (5 minutes' walk) with hiking trails and heath sheep is right outside the door. In 15 minutes by car you reach the Safari & Holiday Park Stukenbrock — ideal for families. Bielefeld University is about 7 km away. For shopping you'll find REWE, Lidl, a pharmacy and a bakery 5 minutes' walk away on the Senner Hellweg.
